Is there a way to play guitar heroes 2 on ps3 using a ps3 wireless guitar???

I just bought GH2 for ps3 and the game works fine. But when i try to connect my ps3 guitar contoller, it flashes for a while then turns off!! I’ve heard that an adapter might be coming out but when and where can i get one from? PS3 have made a stupid mistake on an otherwise amazing gaming machine!!!

you cant use old games with the new gh3 guitars i tried it and it didnt work it even says on like gamestop.com when you buy the adapter that it does not work with the new wireless guitars sorry =[
